Administration : little monsters

Here is an alternative I made for the administrative tasks chapter.
The content is the same but I used little monsters to represent the boring administrative documents.
I think it is better than the previous version, because it is more dynamic, even if it is maybe a bit more complicated.

Lewis Trondheim: Les petits riens

Lewis Trondheim is an author wich has a considerable influence on my imagination and on my work.
I noticed that the approach I have in my book about my personal experience was similar to the way he tells his own travels, in his travel diaries.

How to travel: different versions

Also, I tried another version of the page "How to travel".
I thought hat all of the little transport drawings were maybe a bit redondant and than it would be better to have only one thing, but that were actually travelling in the page. I think it is more dynamic and narrative that way.
What do you think?

Administrative tasks: work in progress

Here are the pages I made for the administrative tasks.
It is the most difficult part to illustrate because it is a bit boring and not really visual.
Also, because the rest of the book contains so many big illustrations, I think it may be good to have some pages with more text and less images, more "quiet".
But I don't want to have all the text in the beginning and all the images after neither. So it is a lot of compromises that I have to find.
And I am not happy yet with these. But, well, that is where I am at the moment.

I also made this illustration, wich I could include somewhere.
It says "the terrible monsters of administration".
Maybe I could work my layout pages with a monster corresponding to each document.

Something like this, maybe:
